Sandwich from Toast Maker

 Happy Sunday people! 

Today we tried out another new eatery in Kota Kemuning, Klang. This place served simple breakfast - sandwiches and coffee/ drinks. 

We are talking about Toast Maker located in Kota Kemuning. My first impression on them - good service attitude! Whatsapp them in the morning before my morning walk to check on their opening hours. The reply is fast and courteous. I asked whether there is dining spaces in their café as i didn't notice much dining spaces related photos from their Facebook page and google search. The service crew attended to my enquiry by shooting a video to show me their eat-in space. How thoughtful. :) 

So, we arrived around 9am. The café is not too big, with probably about 6-7 tables that may seat 4-6 person per table. When we arrived, there were already a crowd. My 2nd impression - the lovely smell of freshly baked toast and coffee filled the air as soon we i pushed the door open. 

Menu are pretty simple, not much choice, so all the 4 of us decided to order different variety of sandwich. You get to choose from 3 types of bread - Cloud Wheat (basically a pillowy soft white bread), Multigrain Brown Bread and Charcoal Bread. We ordered all the types of bread to give it a try. 

As for sandwich varieties - we ordered the "Hammer" - basically ham, eggs, cucumber, "Beef" - with beef bacon, eggs, lettuce, "Avocado" - avocado slices with eggs and vege and also "Chicken" - chicken slice with egg and vege. All of them taste REALLY GOOD! 

Of all the breads, our favorite would be the multigrain brown bread - it is flavorful and more robust in taste. The Cloud wheat even though soft and pillowy, but is just an ordinary white bread. The charcoal bread is more dense in texture and is also a good try. 

Presentation of the sandwiches and quality of ingredients are good. They use a special sauce named as Caramel Butter. Taste alike a salty sweet teriyaki sauce with some richness of butter. We love it and agree why this place is crowded. 

As for drinks - i ordered my favorite Americano as usual. It is pretty diluted, something like the richness of Starbucks' black coffee. But the aroma of coffee beans is still good. Not the best Americano i have had, but a decent cup of coffee, i must say. We also ordered the Iced Matcha Latte. It boast the usage of Niki Neko matcha and we can taste a distinct fragrance of matcha in it. My daughter is someone whom have tried various matcha drink and she approved this. Another drink that we ordered is Dark Chocolate. It is not overly sweet and taste of good chocolate. 👍

Overall, we are pleased with this new found breakfast place. Small and cozy, but clean. I am particularly fussy on the cleanliness - and i approve the cleanliness of their cafe as well as their washroom. 

For a meal of 4 person - 4 sandwiches and 3 drinks, the bill is RM93++. For big eaters, you may leave with still slightly hungry feeling. For someone who is not a big eater like me, this fills me up just nicely.
